Airport Railroad (AREX) Express Train

This one-time ticket allows you to take a direct train from Incheon International Airport to Seoul Station or from Seoul Station to Incheon International Airport.

Travel times by mode of transportation are as follows

• AREX Express :
  Incheon Int’l Airport T1 ~ Seoul Station : 43-min
  Incheon Int’l Airport T2 ~ Seoul Station : 51-min
• AREX (All-stop) : 59-min
• Bus : 90-min

※ Original fare : KRW 17,700 (Seoul St.~T1 St.), KRW 18,300 (Seoul St.~T2 St.)

• Pick a comfortable seat and make the most of the free WiFi and USB charging ports.
• Since it’s an open ticket, you can use it within the validity period from the date you choose.

The purchased voucher is not an actual ticket and “must be redeemed for an actual ticket.”

The AREX voucher can only be used after exchanging into an actual ticket using one of the following two methods.

1. Redeem your express train ticket on the Airport Railroad website (QR code)

You can choose your preferred seat.
Use the AREX QR code on your cell phone to board the train!

[1] Go to the AREX web site.

[2] On the main page, select your departure/destination station. Select your departure date and time.

[3] Select your train.

[4] Please select either member or non-member.
(Only email address is required in case you select non-member.)

[5] Input your email address and confirm it. Input the email-received verification number as well as remaining fields.

[6] In case you would like to select a specific seat, please do so by using the 'Change Seats' button.

[7] Choose ʻSelect Discounts’

[8] Please enter the 13-digit voucher number and verify it. The ticket will be issued.

2. Exchanging express train tickets at airport rail station ticket vending machines (Physical tickets)

You can choose your preferred seat.
